Sir John Monash Lecture 2019: Panel Discussion with Kon Karapanagiotidis & Arnold Zable

Photographer Hoda Afshar will be joined by Kon Karapanagiotidis, CEO and founder of Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, and Arnold Zable, renowned writer, storyteller, educator and human rights advocate, to discuss this year’s topic of creativity in the face of adversity.

The panelists will share their own experiences and tell the story of Behrouz Boochani, a writer, journalist, scholar, cultural advocate and filmmaker, who has been detained on Manus Island since 2013.
